Rhassoul clay (aka Ghassoul Clay) is a clay from Morocco that is extremely rich in nutrients that prove to be precious for hair and skin. No wonder why there is a growing number of beauty salons and practitioners that started using Rhassoul clay mask for hair and body treatments.
Our hair faces daily very harsh conditions every single day. Sudden changes in humidity and temperature, extensive use of hair blowers, environmental pollution, bad eating habits, stress, sun radiation; and so many more; so many that we cannot address them all in just one post. What is of the essence though is the fact that we all do tend to mistreat our hair one way or another. Eventually, we see our hair lose its volume, softness, elasticity, shine, and, in some cases, we even see it falling. There are many steps that we can take to prevent the deterioration of our hair, and one of them is to start using Ghassoul Clay by Moroccan Heritage™.
Lost in the centuries, the use of the Rhassoul clay for hair and body treatments was used by the Berber tribes of Morocco.
Because in the desert commodities such as water and soap were very scarce, Berbers used Rhassoul clay daily in their washing and cleansing routine on a daily basis. The Moroccan Heritage™ studied the traditional Moroccan cultural beauty practices in order to offer the finest quality Rhassoul Clay available on the market. The Ghassoul Clay by Moroccan Heritage™ comes in a handy 4 oz. Sack and it costs only $29.99!
Apart from being an excellent 100% natural face mask Rhassoul clay can also prove to be an exceptional hair mask and hair conditioner. So, at this point, you are undoubtedly wondering what makes this clay such a precious one. Well, Rhassoul clay is rich in precious minerals, such as silica, magnesium, sodium, calcium, iron, etc.
Recent scientific researches have shown that silica can regenerate injured or lost tissues. When infused into the hair, silica can regenerate and stimulate hair growth. Also, silica can help collagen’s formation. Collagen helps hair look elastic, smooth, and prevents it from breaking easily.
Magnesium is yet one more vital mineral that is essential for hair’s health. Scientists have proved that magnesium is the basis for strong and healthy hair. Magnesium deficiency leads eventually to hair loss. Since Rhassoul clay is very rich in magnesium, it is an excellent hair mask and hair conditioner.
Generally speaking, there are many benefits when using Rhassoul clay as a hair mask. It cleanses gently your scalp and your hair; making hair washing a rather stimulating experience. It can also cleanse in depth while protecting sebum. This means that, when used regularly, it can prevent hair breakage. After only a couple of times, you will feel and see the difference in your hair; shinier, softer, voluminous, and beautifully texturized. Moreover, by applying a Rhassoul clay hair mask on your hair, you will remove dirt, excessive oil, bad odor, and you will get rid of dandruff, too. Finally, Rhassoul clay has great washing powers; therefore you won’t need to wash your hair frequently.
The best part regarding Ghassoul Clay by Moroccan Heritage™ is that it is a 100% natural product. It is totally free of chemicals, fragrances and preservatives that may irritate your skin and scalp. Rhassoul clay is truly a very effective hair mask and hair conditioner.
How to use Rhassoul Hair Mask:
Mix 1 tablespoon Rhassoul clay into 1/4 cup of water * to make a thin mixture. Pour onto your hair and massage in. For hair, it is important not to let the mixture dry as it can contribute to hair breakage if it hardens.
So massage into hair in the shower and leave for about 30 seconds before washing.
* for long hair, double or even triple the quantity.
